It has been 5 months since Consider It Sold introduced a line of gaming
supplies to be sold using the world’s largest global marketplace. Now
Consider It Sold has created a database of over twenty thousand items that
can be searched from a single page. "We don't have pictures for all the
items yet. You can image the task of gathering or producing photos for
over twenty thousand items. However, the system does work and you can
order any item listed in the database", said Derrick Bradshaw when we
talked to him about the technical nature of this service. The database,
which holds over twenty thousand items, has a single entry point that can
be searched in virtually limitless ways. Derrick has plans for using this
same structure to produce a full line of auto parts database and buyers
will be able to purchase anything we carry. The website is located at
http://www.cisoldit4u.com/games.php and can be used now.
Things have been pretty busy at Consider It Sold the last couple of
months. We caught up with Craig to ask him how things were doing.
"Business is doing very well. We are providing a service that the public
needs. Since September of last year when Derrick came on board to help
out we have tripled are annual revenue. I think the key is to provide a
service to the customer at a reasonable rate. When you compare our
fees to eBay’s fees and the value of doing all the work yourself it is
a clear choice which direction to go. Of course, we have a great staff
that has worked very hard to help get us where we are today. I don't think
we could run such a well-oiled machine without them."
The Red Cross fund-raiser went well but Amy is hoping more people come out
to support the local Red Cross when we run the fund-raiser again. Derrick says the company is planning on scheduling monthly fund-raisers to help
local non profit companies. Red Cross is currently scheduled to run once or
twice a year. "Things can always change but this is our current thinking",
said Derrick.
